Pregnancy and childbirth have a big impact on our pelvic floor. But when you become a new mum, the last thing you have time for is yourself. Many of us don’t realise we have an issue with our pelvic floor until the leakages when sneezing, coughing, laughing and running become too frequent.
But what can we do to stop it? Are we destined to live the rest of our life wearing panty liners and nappy pants? NO. You’re not!
The Pelvic Floor is a group of muscles that can be retaught to contract and relax correctly with the right training. Easy, fun and simple training. It may seem a little invasive in your mind right now, but we have either pushed our children out naturally or had cesareans and survived both, so this will be a walk in the park!
The classes are designed to start easy. We allow your Pelvic Floor time to learn how to contract and release correctly. Once the movement patterns can be performed naturally, we build on this foundation and introduce resistance and bodyweight exercises.
Zip Up Your Purse classes are built around our Pelvic Floor and core strength and stability. We literally train you from the inside out.
Regular sessions reduce lower back pain, increase joint mobility and stability, boost your self esteem and libido and also teach you how to release muscle tightness and pelvic tension.
Every class is suitable for all levels and abilities and spaces are limited so you (and your amazing Pelvic Floor) get the attention you deserve.
